In order to fulfill the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to radically improve the system of training engineers for agriculture and water management" No. РР 3702 dated March 24, 2017, and "On measures for the further development of the higher education system" No. 2909 dated April 20, 2017, a number of works.

On the initiative of the rector of the institute U.P. Umurzakov, to accelerate the integration of education, science, and industry, an action plan was implemented to increase the efficiency of mutually beneficial cooperation with organizations at a new level. Head of the Department of Water Energy Use and Pumping Stations Professor D.R. Bazarov and the staff of the department paid a working visit to the hydroelectric power plant on the Pskoy River. During the visit, they got acquainted with the current projects and construction work.

In cooperation with the faculty and experts of TIIAME from the leading scientific institutions of the world, programs of "additional special education" are being implemented, the skills of employees are improved, the skills of working with technical, design, estimate documents, inseparable from the production of young people working on construction sites, are developed. The higher education plan was agreed upon. At the same time, during the visit, tasks were identified for opening a branch of the department "Use of hydroelectric power plants and pumping stations" and conducting an online dialogue with the involvement of leading specialists of the organization.
