In our country during the years of independence a large-scale work has been carried out to raise the younger generation spiritually mature and physically healthy, patriotic and selfless, to protect their rights and interests. The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On increasing the effectiveness of the state youth policy and supporting the activities of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan" was adopted to radically improve and qualitatively move to this new level of qualification. Educating competent, goal-oriented and energetic young people with modern knowledge and skills, able to assume responsibility for the worthy future of the country is the most important precondition for sustainable and progressive development of the country. In recent years, huge work has been done to demonstrate the intellectual and creative potential of young people, their civil responsibility and their involvement in the ongoing reforms. As a continuation of these reforms, the Republican Scientific Olympiad on "Theoretical Mechanics" was held at the Department of "Theoretical and Construction Mechanics". 17 students of the bachelor's degree program "Water management and land improvement", Mechanization of agriculture, Hydraulic engineering, Mechanization of hydromeliorative works of the Institute took part in the 1st Republican Olympiad Olympiad.
